Francis Cowley

We are sad to report that Francis Cowley, our founding Musical Director and President of the band has sadly passed away at the age of 96.  He was an inspiration to countless musicians in Swindon, Wiltshire and the wider area and will be hugely missed. His biography on our website can only begin to cover his musical life, suffice to say our band would not exist without his hard work, enthusiasm and support, and we will work hard to continue his legacy to music in Swindon and the local area.
