Swindon Brass are thrilled to have been placed fourth in the Third Section of the West of England Brass Band Championships held at the Riviera Centre in Torquay on Saturday the 9th March 2019.
Huge thanks go to our conductors Fran Cowley and Tim Crouter for getting us there. Fran played on the front row of the cornet section, this made it his 70th consecutive year of attending the championships either as a conductor or musician. An amazing achievement as he will be celebrating his 92nd birthday in May!  Swindon Brass donated £750 from their annual carol playing around the town bringing their total donation to Prospect Hospice to £3,680.86
